Age : Between 19 and 1/2 to 25 years (candidates to be born between 02 July 1986 to 01 January 1991, both dates inclusive)
Physical Standards :Height and Weight : Minimum height - 157 cms. The minimum acceptable visIon standard for distant vision 6/60, 6/60 correctable to 6/6, 6/12 with glasses. Should not be colour blind.

Age : 19 1/2 - 25 & (candidate to be born between 02nd Jan 1986 to 1st July 1991 )
Physical Standards : (a) Height and Weight. Minimum height Male - 157 cms, Female-152cms, with correlated weight,(b) Eye Sight: The minimum acceptable vision standard for distant vision 6/6, 6/9 correctable to 6/6, 6/6 . Should not be colour /night blind.

The Indian Navy - Short Service Commission in the Technical/ Executive Cadre of the Indian Navy for Course commencing July 2011
Applications are invited from Engineering students for the post of SSC Officer
Note: Women candidates can apply to Naval Architecture and Logistics Cadre only. 8th Semester students need not apply for the same.
Physical Standards: Minimum height-157cms for men and 152 cms for women with correlated weight. Eye Sight: For two eyes 6/24, using spectacles 6/6 (for Technical Cadre). For General Service 6/12, using spectacles 6/6. For two eyes 6/60, using spectacles 6/6, 6/12 ( for Logistics Cadre)
How to apply:
Applications typed in A4 size paper with a self attested photo pasted should be send at The Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief (for Command Recruitment Officer) Headquarters, Southern Naval Command, Naval Base, Kochi-682004. The attested copies of certificates showing age, qualification (marklists of 1st to 6th Semesters) should also be send along with the application. The envelop having the application should be super scribed with Application for UES (Technical Branch/ Executive Branch) and Name of College & District (City)-State-.............. and send by ordinary post only and should reach the address given on or before 23rd July 2010.

Applications are invited from unmarried Male and Female Indian Citizens for Short Service Commission (SSC) Officer in Education Branch of the Indian Navy for Course commencing January 2011 at NAVAC, INS Zamorin Ezhimala, Kerala.
Eligibility Conditions:
Age : Between 21 to 25 years (candidates to be born between 02 January 1986 to 01 January 1990; both dates inclusive)
Educational Qualifications : A Post Graduate with minimum 50% marks in Physics (with Maths in B.Sc.) or Mathematics (with Physcis in B.Sc.) or Chemistry (with Maths and Physcis at B.Sc. level Or English or in Histroy.
Physical Standards :
